Ensure ‘double locking’ at relay rooms, rail zones told

Days after the triple train accident in Odisha, the Indian Railways on Monday issued a circular to all zones for a week-long safety drive and directed them to ensure “double-locking arrangements” in station relay rooms and compounds housing signalling equipment (goomties). It also said all these rooms and premises should be checked and have secured locking systems.
